“Life Is A Journey, Full of Uncertainty” Unknown
I arrived in Paris last Saturday, September 2. After navigating myself successfully to my hotel, I sat down to look at a map of Paris and became extremely overwhelmed. I didn’t realize how big Paris was. Instead of continuing to stare at the map, I decided to head out and explore the area around my hotel.
Since nothing in Paris seems to be in English (not even restaurant menus – if you don’t have a menu in English then you are not getting my business;) and no one speaks English, I had no idea what, if any, monumental buildings I was standing in front of. I could identify my first sighting, since arriving in Paris, of the Eiffel Tower. Not hard to miss.
